George McGregor is a lifelong resident of New Orleans – excluding the four years he attended Louisiana State University, which were bookended with BCS National Championships (’03-’07).

Mr. McGregor joined Burgos and Associates in 2014. His current practice focuses on representing plaintiffs who have sustained personal injuries, individuals who have been injured in automobile accidents, slip and falls, and work place accidents.

Mr. McGregor also maintains a very active criminal defense practice representing individuals charged with wide range of crimes including serious felonies – drug related and/or violent crimes, minor felonies, misdemeanors, DUIs, and traffic violations.

Additionally, Mr. McGregor maintains a robust general civil practice, representing contractors in construction disputes, individuals in insurance disputes, individuals in domestic matters, local companies in business litigation matters, and serves as general counsel for local businesses.
Mr. McGregor attended Loyola University College of Law, where he was the recipient of the Warren E. Mouledoux Professional Responsibility Award, among others, and obtained his J.D. in 2011. While at Loyola, he participated in the Rule XX program with the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office which allowed him to participate in multiple felony trials as a law student. Upon admission to the bar in 2011, he joined a local insurance defense firm and practiced in the areas of personal injury defense, bad faith litigation, and insurance fraud.

Mr. McGregor is licensed to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal courts.

Mr. McGregor was named a “Rising Star” by Louisiana Super Lawyers in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Mr. McGregor is a member of Jesuit High School’s 2003 class and remains active in the alumni association. He is also an active member in the Irish Channel Marching club.

Mr. McGregor has been a New Orleans Saints season ticket holder since 2000 and his family has had season tickets since John Gilliam returned the inaugural kickoff at Tulane Stadium in 1967.
